Many people in the massage industry- you may be surprised to know- do not have formal massage education or even insurance. This is a major RED FLAG!

Think: if they don't care enough to put in the time and effort to ensure PROFESSIONAL standards, do you really want to trust them with any confidential information or even your physical well-being?

Every client deserves to feel safe, respected, and comfortable in their own space. We provide an inclusive, judgment-free service that warmly welcomes individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations, including trans and non-binary clients.

Respecting your personal dignity, correct pronouns, and individual boundaries is an essential part of delivering professional, high-quality care.

Sensitive customer care

All new patients complete a medical form, this is to inform the practitioner of any adjustments needed. This is treated in line with GDPR rules [privacy policy]

Health and mood are very dynamic. When you share any health information, it will be kept confidential unless consent is explicitly given to share it to 3rd parties such as PTs or GPs, etc.

GDPR

Your personal and medical information is handled with absolute confidentiality and processed in strict compliance with UK GDPR standards. All intake forms, clinical notes, contact details, and payment histories are securely stored using encrypted, access-controlled digital systems.

Your personal data and medical history will never be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties without your explicit written consent, except where legally mandated for safety or public health requirements.

No Inappropriate behaviour

A safe environment relies on mutual trust, respect, and strictly professional boundaries. There is an absolute zero-tolerance policy for any inappropriate conduct, including sexual harassment, suggestive comments, hate speech, verbal aggression, or discrimination of any kind.

The practitioner reserves the right to immediately terminate the session without a refund if any behaviour compromises their physical safety or professional boundaries.

Hygeine

To ensure a clinical, safe, and professional standard of care, strict hygiene protocols are enforced for every home visit. All massage equipment, including portable tables, face cradles, and vinyl coverings, is thoroughly sanitised with medical-grade disinfectant prior to and immediately following each session.

Fresh, single-use or high-temperature laundered linens are used for every client. Practitioners adhere to rigorous hand hygiene procedures before and after treatment, and clients are expected to present with clean skin and a safe, tidy environment suitable for establishing a clear treatment area.

Medical Emergencies

For both practitioner and client, is it important you have a trusted person who knows your whereabouts at all times.

The practitioner is trained in emergency first aid, has a medical kit bag and will have what3words, if needed, to call for an urgent response.

You must be forthcoming with any signs of pain, discomfort, illness or allergies that could be made worse with the application of wax/oils and deep tissue pressure .

Right to refuse

To prioritise safety and clinical best practice, the practitioner reserves the right to decline or immediately terminate a session if the environment is deemed unsafe, hygiene standards are unmet, or inappropriate behaviour occurs.

Treatment will also be refused if undisclosed medical contraindications or "red flag" health conditions are present that make therapy unsafe. In cases where a session is stopped due to safety breaches, inappropriate conduct, or withheld health information, payment remains due and non-refundable.
